Three days clinic with highly motivated participants
We had three intensive days of learning and teaching. For our clinic we had the pleasure of welcoming riders from all directions, some traveling up to eight hours to reach our facility. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was relaxed and motivating—everywhere you looked, there were happy faces, dedicated participants, and enthusiastic companions who clearly felt at home.
The first day of the clinic focused on dressage and gymnastics work to establish and refine the basics for successful riding. On Saturday, we shifted the focus to course segments and various distances. Afterwards, the course for the final day was set up, providing the perfect opportunity to discuss the correct warm-up—a theoretical session that Laura demonstrated practically on Sunday. Of course, walking the course together, with precise measurement of the distances, was also an essential part of the program.
Once again, the daily demonstration at the start of each day was met with great enthusiasm. Under my guidance, Laura performed and exemplified the assigned exercises. This presentation offers a significant advantage, as it gives riders a clear idea of what correct riding and each exercise should look like. My conclusion: it definitely made a difference in this clinic as well.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, many participants will also take part in our official show jumping competition, where we will support and guide them during the course walk and warm-up. We are looking forward to it!
