Angel Eyes has inherited her sire’s looks and his positive character traits. Million Dollar, ridden by Sophie Hinners, was a top-quality sport horse with unique charisma. The eleven-year-old stallion was a member of several winning Nations Cups teams and a top grand prix contender. His young offspring are all demonstrating their sire’s distinctive scopey jump and positive attitude. Million Dollar carries a rare concentration of proven sport performance genes. His sire Plot Blue won WEG team gold and a World Cup final. His damsire Vigo d’Arsouilles won a WEG individual gold and the dam’s grandsire, Cento, was team gold medallist at the Sydney Olympics, won the World Cup final in Leipzig and the Grand Prix of Aachen. Dam Retina V was succesful up to 1.50m level. Caretino is another top Holstein stallion whose bloodline goes back to the exceptional Caletto II and one of the most influential sires in warmblood breeding, Cor de la Bryère. After a successful show jumping career her went on to become an equally successful sire. Caretino won and was placed in diverse grand prix classes with Bo Kristoffersen and Ludger Beerbaum. Lord produced an above-average number of top jumping horses that went on to have illustrious competition careers all over the world.
This big-framed mare has lots of blood and presence. She is also light-footed with a powerful and dynamic action. Angel Eyes combines a number of outstanding attributes that make her a very special offering. This beautifully built, eager mare has the perfect temperament, enormous scope and she’s naturally careful over jumps. Angel Eyes jumps almost effortlessly from take-off to landing, and her positive attitude is unfailing, no matter how challenging or big the obstacle. When you see her over jumps, it’s obvious that she has unlimited scope.
Until the beginning of this year she had very little competition experience. Despite that, she has performed consistently throughout the season, winning several 1.15m young horse classes with scores of up to 9.0.
