He makes every rider look good!
What a breath-taking horse! This handsome licensed stallion knows exactly how to charm the public with his stunning looks, captivating elegance and impressive presence. True Colors is so lithe and elastic that his movements swing through his entire body and on top of that he’s a real pleasure to ride with a picture perfect jumping technique. A stylish, well-balanced jump, a good bascule and technical precision underline this young sport stallion’s qualities and talent. He has an even stride, concentrating on the job at hand from start to finish with his ears pricked attentively.
Not only does True Colors have the potential to be an excellent sport horse, he also has what it takes to make it in the breeding world. The genes of Cohinoor VDL are rare because they unite the bloodstock of legendary breeding stallion and Olympic horse, Cornet Obolensky, world-class sire Stakkato, Holstein legend Contender Hanoverian performance horse sire Graf Grannus. Even the dam side of Cohinoor VDL’s pedigree is packed full of performance horses. His dam, Sophia, has produced several top international horses and is half-sister to international show jumper Lakeland. The damsire Carrera VDL was ridden by Jur Vrieling at the highest international level, winning both grand prixs and Nations Cups. Carrera VDL is descended from Cardento and Baloubet du Rouet, both medal-winning champions with spectacularly successful offspring. His dam, Vantiels Esprit, also competed at top international level. KWPN stallion Kannan has a proven track record as both a competition horse and a sire. In fact, he is the only stallion in the world to have been continuously ranked among the WBFSH top ten since 2010 and enjoyed an auspicious competition career with French rider, Michel Hécart. Kannan’s legacy will always live on through his offspring, many of which have won championship medals.
True Colors has impressively demonstrated his consistency and undoubtedly has a very promising future ahead. He completed his stallion performance test with aplomb, receiving scores in the high eights throughout. On competition outings he has produced some sensational clear rounds, been placed in young horse classes and he had double clears in the challenging classes for stallions in Kronenberg and Exloo.
True Colors has the credentials and the ability to be a top sport horse and a top sire.
