A horse with magical appeal. If it’s tranquillity, security and warmth you’re looking for, Kind of Magic can give you all that.
Kind of Magic is a performance-bred youngster with endless potential, a powerful jump and a fantastic technique. This capable gelding with a perfect bascule and unusually powerful take-off kinetics is an absolute pleasure to watch in the ring. Two qualities that make Kind of Magic so remarkable are his dependability and rideability. He also has a perfectly balanced canter that helps him to showcase his talent, technique and leg action. Everything you assume on the ground about this exceptional horse’s talent is confirmed when you hop into the saddle and feel his excellent balance, fast reactions and powerful jump.
Kind of Magic’s pedigree is no less enchanting. It boasts both Emerald van het Ruytershof and the Cassini I and Landgraf I dynasties. Emerald van’t Ruytershof is one of the world’s most successful jumping stallions. He and Harrie Smolders won CSI5* grand prixs, competed on winning Nations Cup teams and secured a place in the final at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics. He is descended from Diamant de Semilly and Carthago, two more acclaimed performance horse sires. Emerald van’t Ruytershof passes on his scope and sport horse qualities to his offspring, many of which are famous championship horses competing at the highest international level. Damsire Cassini I was Franke Sloothaak’s top international horse for many years and he is by far the most coveted breeding stallion by Capitol I. Landgraf I is one of the all-time greats in Holstein jumping horse breeding with an incredible jump that has made him so popular as a sire.
Kind of Magic was one of the first horses to be selected for this auction collection and, despite being just five years of age and at the outset of his career, he has so many placings that an amazing future is already mapped out for him. Almost 80% of all his registered placings are top three, including six wins in young horse classes up to 1.25m with scores in the high eights. This bay gelding has also been attracting international attention. He won two out of the six youngster classes he has competed in and was placed in three further classes after spectacular clear rounds. Now this sport horse is ready for his next international outings.
A magical horse for magical moments.
“One dream, one soul
One prize, one goal
One golden glance of what should be
It's a kind of magic”.
