Barbie Girl is a symbol of beauty and style.
This adult mare is a very modern and elastic thoroughbred-type with a great attitude and a performance mind-set. Her light-footed action and top technique certainly get her noticed. And her other attributes, such as a powerful take-off, a careful jump, lots of flexibility, a quick mind and a textbook bascule, give her even more potential and promise. Last, but not least, her perfect technique and massive scope make her the ideal candidate for international show jumping sport. However high we built the jumps at the video shoot, she cleared them all with ease and aplomb. This unfailingly willing bay mare also has a beautiful temperament and is an easy ride.
After collecting multiple wins and placings in young horse classes up to 1.25m with a female rider, this athletic horse is now winning 1.30m classes. She already has a lot of international competition experience and, after several wins and placings in international youngster tours, Barbie Girl is ready to move up the grades.
Her very interesting pedigree includes Danish stallion Party Dance, Linnea Ericsson Carey’s international competition partner and top-level show jumping horse. Many of Party Dance’s offspring are now also international sport horses. His dam, White Dance, was an advanced-level show jumper, and his other ancestors Cajus, Godehard and Antrieb all have excellent reputations as performance horse sires. The damsire Come Back, whose lineage goes back to legendary stallions Cor de la Bryère and Landgraf I, was an international grand prix dressage horse with Hubertus Schmidt and has sired both grand prix dressage horses and grand prix show jumpers.
