In the end everybody was happy. The Tiemeyer x Hetzel Young Horse Masters, the competition for young horses with the highest prize money in the world, turned the last weekend into the perfect event at Holger Hetzel’s equestrian centre in Goch.

“We’ve got a bid for EUR 20,000! From over there… across the pond,” smiled auctioneer Koen Olaerts from his auction block....

In the last final for seven and eight-year-old horses, which took place on Sunday afternoon, the top placings were something of an international affair.

The first final of the Tiemeyer x Hetzel Young Horse Masters was held on Saturday in the Rhenish town of Goch. Belgian show jumper Laurens Houben won the six-year-olds final with French stallion Hoover De Hus.

Ten of the original field of 39 five-year-old starters qualified for the finals jump-off on Sunday afternoon, and it made an exciting watch for spectators: Philipp Hartmann crossed the finish line with the fastest clear round with Cortez FZ!

Canada, America, The Netherlands, Germany- once again our former horses made us incredibly proud!

Every year the world's largest horse show brings excitement with its competitions and show programme centred around horses and riding. We were full of proud when we saw five (!) of our former horses jumping amazing at this years CHIO.
