Legioner was clear in the final of his 5th (!) German Championships
Last weekend Laurens and I competed at the International German Championships at Riesenbeck International. We would like to pay a big compliment to the organiser Ludger Beerbaum and the team of Riesenbeck International, who organized a great show despite the difficult conditions due to Covid 19. There “was exceptional sport in an unusual atmosphere” and we were very happy to participate there.
Legioner convinced once again with beautiful rounds and jumped amazing. In all rounds my gelding was motivated, fresh and willing to perform and no one expected that he is 16 years old. In the Grand Prix- at the same time final of the German Championships- he showed a beautiful clear round and was placed in this 1.55m class. Due to a light fault on the first day we didn’t qualify for the best 12, but that doesn’t matter. I’m more than happy with the performance of my sport partner at our fifth (!) German Championship!
Laurens was also very successful at the international show. With the 9yo gelding Dreamland (by Sunday de Riverland) he was placed in a 1.45m class of the CSI3* and in the CSI3* Grand Prix they had just one time fault in the 1.55m course. In the saddle of Hector van d’Abdijhoeve (v. Cabrio vd Heffinck) Laurens got a placing in a 1.45m class of the CSI**.
