6. Higher Love
Pedigree
A special horse with a winning attitude!
However high the jumps are, this six year old mare confidently answers every question and she is clearly destined to become a top competition horse. A superb jumping technique, a winning attitude, an impressive powerful action and the determination to go out into the arena and do her job are just some of the attributes that make this mare a promising future Grand Prix horse.
Higher Love has a modern pedigree and a fantastic dam line. She updates traditional bloodlines to reflect modern-day standards.
El Torreo de Muze is the whole package: powerful and agile with a perfect jumping technique. He’s already made his mark in the international show jumping scene with his Olympian rider Bernado Alvares and they are regularly placed in top-level classes. This stallion also has numerous leading competition horses and sires in his own pedigree. He was bred from Taran de la Pomme, an international competition stallion ridden by Kevin Staut out of Grand Prix-winner dam Funky Music (Ann Carton-Grootjans).
Higher Love’s dam Itina van HD is the product of two world-famous Olympic horses: Crown Z, a successful Grand Prix stallion by Carthago Z, and the legendary Ratina Z – both championship horses that have earned their places in the history books. Grand dam Candy competed at CSI5* level with Pieter Devos and also produced Gran Canyon van HD (Jur Vrieling/ Bart Bles), Handy van HD (Marlon Modolo Zanotelli) and Important de Muze (Sadri Fegaier/ Darragh Kenny).
This outstanding pedigree is rounded off with the genes of top jumping horse sire Nabab de Reve, a former great international competition horse with Belgian rider Philippe le Jeune.
He was Belgium’s flagship stallion and sire to numerous international jumping horses, including Glock’s London (Gerco Schröder) and Vigo d’Arsouilles (Philippe le Jeune).
This six year old mare’s competition career isn’t without highlights. Last year she won several young horse classes for five year olds in Belgian “Zyklus” series and qualified for the National Championships for Five Year Old Jumping Horses. This year Higher Love picked up exactly where she left off last season, adding even more impressive clear rounds to her youngster class tally. Higher Love has a lot of arena experience and is ready to compete at international youngster tours. When you look at her ease and confidence in the ring, despite her young age, it’s obvious she has an amazing future ahead of her.
Think about it, there must be a higher love
… Without it, life is wasted time
Bring me a higher love!
