4. Airwaves
Pedigree
This athletic horse is just as refreshing as the Wrigley’s version.
Although Airwaves is a big gelding he is elegantly built. This grey horse has a modern conformation plus all the attributes of a future Grand Prix horse. His imposing presence in the competition arena is unparalleled, and he’s one of the best show jumpers in his age group. He demonstrates his exceptional qualities and unlimited scope around every course of jumps, and despite his size he’s the perfect gentleman and a genuinely easy ride. In fact, this thoroughbred-type gelding is the perfect example of a sport horse and he’s ready for top-level competition.
Seven year old Airwaves has a true sport horse pedigree with an international gene mix.
He is by the famous stallion Clarimo, a leading international sire that has won four-star competitions with Rolf-Göran Bengtsson. Clarimo’s pedigree includes the excellent performance genes of Capitol I and Caletto II, as well as the bloodlines of Wisma and Wodka, two very successful international show jumpers that have produced many outstanding sport horses during their breeding careers. Clarimo’s dam Wisma is famous for her two licensed sons Cassini I and II. Clarimo’s offspring are already big names on the international show circuit and include Chardonnay and Cielito Lindo (Max Kühner), Cynar VA (Jessica Springsteen), Call me Spock (Frederico Ciriesi), Bardolina (Mario Deslauriers) and GK Coco Chanel (Conor Swail).
Airwaves’ dam Rianda also produced top international show jumpers Brianda (Ali Wolff) and Genua (Kyle Timm). The dam sire Landeur I is by legendary Hanoverian stallion Grandeur, Austrian rider Thomas Frühmann’s very successful international competition horse for many years. Ferro is a famous dressage horse that competed in the elite international dressage scene with Coby van Baalen. He is also one of the most successful dressage breeding stallions around.
Airwaves has plenty of experience at national and international competitions, with high placings in classes up to 1.40m as a seven year old. Now he's ready to move up the career ladder and enter his next international Grand Prix.
Ready for a promising future in top-level Grand Prixs!
