Elegance meets beauty Future Vision is almost off the quality scale!
This bay gelding is a horse that ticks all the boxes. He unites a stunning modern and masculine build with a brilliant temperament and an excellent jump. Future Vision is a top-grade sport horse with a fascinating silhouette. He’s also a perfect gentleman under the saddle and exceptionally careful over jumps. With round after perfect round, amazing presence, formidable scope and outstanding overall quality, it’s difficult to find the words to describe this horse’s competition performances. Over jumps Future Vision impresses with his powerful hind quarters, remarkable bascule and scope, as well as a dynamic, perfectlybalanced canter. He also earns a perfect 10 for rideability. The foundations are already in place for a future career in Grand Prix show jumping, now they just have to be built on.
Future Vision’s high-quality pedigree portends great things for the future. His sire Carrera VDL was ridden by Jur Vrieling at the highest international level, winning both Grand Prixs and Nations Cups. Carrera VDL is descended from Cardento and Baloubet du Rouet, both medal-winning champions with spectacularly successful offspring. His dam, Vantiels Esprit, also competed at top international level. A la Carte NRW, the damsire, is an ultra-modern stallion with an athletic build and stunning looks. With Marcus Ehning in the saddle he has competed successfully in major competitions around the world. Cornet Obolensky needs no introduction as one of the world’s greatest sires. Marco Kutscher steered him to international victory on numerous occasions, including a gold medal at the European Championships and numerous wins in Grand Prix and Nations Cup classes.
This five-year-old gelding was one of the first horses to be selected for this year’s Sport Horse Sales and he has been brought on carefully since then. On public outings his sheer presence often eclipses the rest of the field, and he’s already begun a model career as competition horse with 19 placings to his name, six of them wins in young horse classes up to 1.25m, and often receiving scores in the high eights. Future Vision qualified multiple times for the five year olds competition at the 2022 HKM Bundeschampionat - the German national championships for young horses – and is now ready for international youngster tours.
