Daddy Cool has a particularly impressive jumping aptitude, an outstanding character and excellent rideability. Always responsive to the rider’s aids and with a smooth and supple jump, this grey gelding is an absolute pleasure to ride. In the show jumping ring Daddy Cool is in a class of his own. His charisma, his schoolmaster qualities thanks to a perfect training programme and his consistent technique over jumps put him way ahead of the field. With Zirocco Blue, Corrado I and Heraldik in the first generations of his pedigree, this sport horse is destined for the top echelons of the sport. His sire Zirocco Blue is an exceptional show jumping stallion and an exceptional sire.  His rare pedigree includes Mr. Blue, Voltaire, Le Tot de Semilly, Jalisco, Uriel, Ibrahim and Ultimate xx. Zirocco Blue and Jur Vrieling had a very successful international career together, competing at all the major tournaments, as well as winning numerous Grand Prixs and team silver at the European Championships.

Some say that Corrado I, the dam’s sire, is the founder of his own Holstein bloodline. Both his own and his offspring’s competition track records are long. Ridden by Franke Sloothaak, Corrado I won numerous international classes. Corrado is famous for passing on his impressive jump to his progeny, and many of them are international competition horses: The pedigree is rounded off by the thoroughbred genes of Heraldik xx, another 1.50m show jumper and successful sire.

Daddy Cool went straight into the auction collection for his remarkable competition performances and consistent results. The grey gelding has more than 30 competition placings, including top placings in 1.25m young horse classes and regular classes up to 1.35m. Daddy Cool has also proven his speed and agility in jump-offs. He qualified for the 6-year-olds jumping competition at the HKM Bundeschampionat 2022.
