Simple Man has undergone a solid basic training programme. He has won 1.10m youngster classes and has placings with scores of up to 8.6 in up to 1.30m classes for young horses.

His pedigree includes some first rate performance horse bloodlines.

His sire Silverstone is the first licensed stallion sired by Champion du Lys, Ludger Beerbaum's former ride. Bugatti VDL’s dam sire Indoctro is an internationally acclaimed sport horse producer with a prestigious Holstein pedigree.  Simple Man’s dam sire Contendtro II was a successful advanced-level show jumper and vice-champion in his stallion performance test. He was one of the most consistent breeding stallions in Germany. His dam, Bravo, also produced Contendro I and Cassiano, two more licensed stallions. The Holstein dam line 104a is one of the strongest bloodlines in the world and Contendro II has proven his qualities as a sire beyond doubt. Voltaire is a sport horse breeding legend and one of the world’s top sires. His successful offspring include Formidable (Emanuele Camilli), Venice Beach (Rodrigo Pessoa), Contano (Yannick Gaillot), Brighton (Tiffany Foster) and Bushi (Rodrigo Almeida).
