Diamonds are some of the world’s most rare and precious gems. So is Diamond Heart.
This distinctive looking seven year old bay gelding has all the ingredients to become a future Grand Prix horse. He’s so charismatic and moves with such harmony and rhythm that you simply can’t keep your eyes off him. Some of this athlete’s other qualities, apart from the fact that nothing whatsoever fazes him, include excellent ridability, great technique, unlimited scope and a very positive attitude.
Diamond Heart has already proven his aptitude for a career in show jumping at international competitions. Despite big courses and dramatic backdrops, he jumped clears at CSIYH Valkenswaard and CSIYH Falsterbo, and he has diverse other placings in classes up to 1.35m. In other words, he’s ready for the big time.
Diamond Heart’s pedigree is just as impressive as his competition track record.
His sire Carambole had a star-studded career on the international circuit with Willem Greve. He won the Grand Prixs at CSI4* Amsterdam, CSI3* Drachten and CSI3* Hardelot and has been placed in numerous others. He was also on the winning Dutch Nations Cup teams at CSIO3* Copenhagen and CSIO5* Rotterdam and represented the Netherlands at the European Championships. Hello Senator (Scott Brash), Formidable (Willem Greve), Frasier (Dennis van den Brink) and Farnel (Oliver Lazarus) were all sired by Carambole and currently compete against him at international shows. The dam sire Corland VDL represents two of Holstein’s most prestigious bloodlines; those of Cor de la Bryère and Landgraf. Some of the other sport horses in the family are Corradina (Carsten-Otto Nagel), Eurocommerce California and Silvana (Kevin Staut). Guidam is sire to Olympic medal winner Authentic (Beezie Madden), Ninja la Silla (Rolf-Göran Bengtsson) and Vindicat W (Peter Charles & Jessica Springsteen).
This diamond has a glittering future ahead of him.
