Carrera Crystal shines at the World Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken

7yo gelding Carrera Crystal (auction horse 2022) delivered an impressive performance at the World Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken last weekend, competing at the highest level. In both challenging qualifiers, the bay gelding remained confidently fault-free, earning a place on the leaderboard and securing a spot in the final for the top 50 horses on Sunday afternoon.

In the final, Carrera Crystal once again demonstrated his exceptional quality in front of an impressive crowd of thousands of spectators. He navigated the 1.45m course with great precision and style. In the end, Carrera and Laurens finished 25th out of 190 competitors in the 7yo class—a remarkable achievement. Carrera Crystal not only showed that he can already compete at the highest level but also revealed a promising future ahead.
